How to use Helkoss Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Helkoss 150 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Helkoss Tablet works
Helkoss 150 mg Tablet is a H2 blocker (antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid related indigestion and heartburn.

Alcohol use can increase acid secretion, acid reflux in food pipe causing heartburn and decreasing effect of this drug. Helkoss 150 mg Tablet can also decrease alcohol breakdown and increase its level in blood.
