Glimestar 4 mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication. It works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lower the blood glucose.

  • Glimestar 4 mg Tablet helps decrease high blood sugar level and avoids long-term complications of diabetes. 
  • Take it shortly before or with the first main meal of the day (usually breakfast). Avoid skipping meals.

Lactation

Monitoring of the breastfed infant's blood glucose is advisable during maternal therapy with Glimestar 4 mg Tablet
Driving
Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is low or high. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Glimestar 4 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Glimestar 4 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
