Fml Forte Drop is a steroid. It is used in the treatment of inflammation in the eyes caused by infection or allergy. It is used to reduce swelling, itching and soreness after any eye injuries or eye surgery. It is used in low doses, directly in the eyes to relieve the symptoms.
Fml Forte Drop is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using it and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in. Refrain touching the tip of the dropper to any surface to avoid contaminating the eye drop. You should not discontinue using the medicine unless your doctor tells you so. Stopping the medication before time may allow the bacteria to continue their growth, which may result in return of the infection.
Using Fml Forte Drop may cause burning sensation, irritation, or blur the vision temporarily. In most cases, it usually resolve quickly. However, if the irritation persists or worsens, contact your doctor.

Quick tips
- Your doctor has prescribed Fml Forte Drop to treat redness and swelling (inflammation) of the eye.
- Do not use Fml Forte Drop for more than the prescribed duration as it may cause glaucoma or secondary infection.
- Do not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface, or to your eye, to avoid contaminating the eye drops.
- Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.
- Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
- Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
- If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before putting in these eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in.
- Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
