Expert advice for Esorid Tablet

  • Do not take cisapride if you have history of irregular heartbeats, heart disease, kidney disease or lung disease.
  • Stop taking cisapride and contact your doctor immediately if you faint, become dizzy or develop any other unusual symptoms.
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Never take more than the recommended dose of cisapride as it can adversely affect normal heartbeat of an individual.
  • Do not drink alcohol or take medicines called benzodiazepines along with cisapride as they can cause excessive drowsiness.

Hi, I am 5 months pregnant. This is my 1st baby through IVF. Dr. has prescribed me to take me iron tablet (Ferium xt ) of 100mg, but after taking this I feel heartburn problem. Can I take half of this tablet i.e 50 mg a day will be sufficient or not for me ?? Pls reply. Also I am taking folic acid of 6.5 mg daily. Is it sufficient or more than sufficient ? Please reply.
