It is better to take Esocard 100mg injection empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food).
Avoid Esocard 100mg injection with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.

Taking esmolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Esmolol(100 mg)

Uses

Esocard 100mg injection is used in the treatment of angina (chest pain), arrhythmias (abnormal heart beat), heart attack and increased blood pressure .

How it works

Esocard 100mg injection belongs to the class of drugs called Beta-blockers. It binds to the ?-adrenergic receptors in the heart, blocks them, opposes the action of certain endogenous chemicals and slows the heart rate as well as relaxes the blood vessels, thereby controlling the arrhythmia and lowering the blood pressure.

Vomiting, Nausea, Agitation, Confusion, Fatigue, Headache, Decreased blood pressure, Injection site pain, Sleeping for unusually long periods
