Eryn Suspension is used in the treatment of bacterial infections
It is used in infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).
Nausea, Vomiting, Abdominal pain, Diarrhoea, Allergy.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Eryn Suspension is to be taken empty stomach.
Eryn Suspension is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

- Eryn will cure your infection and improve symptoms.
It may cause an upset stomach. If this happens to you, take it with food.
Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete.
Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Eryn.

Taking Erthromycin with alcohol may cause minor drug interactions which may not be clinically relevant in all patients.
Eryn Suspension is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Eryn Suspension is safe to use during lactation.
Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
Eryn Suspension does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Eryn Suspension is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Eryn Suspension is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease as the use of this medicine may affect hearing in patients with severe kidney disease.
Eryn Suspension should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Eryn Suspension may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of this medicine in liver disease patients can cause hearing loss.
If you miss a dose of Erythromycin, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
