It is better to take Eroate 500mg tablet empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food).
Taking Erthromycin with alcohol may cause minor drug interactions which may not be clinically relevant in all patients.
Eroate 500mg tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Either animal studies have shown no adverse effect on the fetus, but there is no human studies or animal studies have shown an adverse effect that was not confirmed in human studies. Please consult your doctor.

Eroate 500mg tablet is used to treat ear, nose, throat, chest, skin and soft tissue infections (acne, tooth infection), and sexually transmitted disease (like syphilis).

How it works

Eroate 500mg tablet belongs to class of medications called macrolide antibiotics. Eroate 500mg tablet inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping the bacterial growth or sometimes killing sensitive bacteria.
