Eldotel 20 mg Tablet is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It relaxes blood vessel by blocking the action of a chemical that usually makes blood vessels tighter. This lowers the blood pressure, allowing the blood to flow more smoothly to different organs and the heart to pump more efficiently.

  • Eldotel 20 mg Tablet can make you feel dizzy for the first few days. Take it preferably at bedtime and rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
  • Eldotel 20 mg Tablet may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.
  • Do not take Eldotel 20 mg Tablet during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if you become pregnant while taking Eldotel 20 mg Tablet.

Driving
Eldotel 20 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
SAFE
Eldotel 20 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Eldotel 20 mg Tablet is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, creatinine, and potassium levels may be advised while you are taking this medicine.
Liver
