Side Effects of Ecmeen are Headache, Dizziness, Photosensitivity, Vomiting, Nausea, Itching, Diarrhoea.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ecmeen 50 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Ecmeen 50 mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

- Your doctor has prescribed Ecmeen 50 mg Tablet to cure your infection and improve symptoms.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat.
Do not take antacids or medicines containing zinc or iron at least 2 hours before or 6 hours after taking Ecmeen 50 mg Tablet.
- It may cause dizziness. Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how Ecmeen 50 mg Tablet affects you.
Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
- Discontinue Ecmeen 50 mg Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.

Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Ecmeen 50 mg Tablet can cause lightheadedness, visual disturbances, dizziness, ringing in the ears, a feeling of dizziness or spinning (vertigo). This may affect your driving ability.
Ecmeen 50 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ecmeen 50 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

u shouldn't take antibiotics without prescription, for simple cold n cough take syp corex-Dx 1 tsf tid, for cold DO STEAM INHALAION TWICE DAILY, WARM SALINE GARGLES, AVOID EXPOSURE TO COLD,TAKE REST tab levocet 1 tab bd for 5 days, take healthy diet to boost ur immunity comprising of proteins, vitamins particularly vit C, take plenty of fluids if not better in 3 days consult physician hope this helps, antibiotics are reserved only for bacterial infections , most cold like illnesses are viral so no need of antibiotics
