General Information

Product introduction
Dapsone 50mg Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It should be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.
Some people may develop a skin rash and fever as side effects of this medicine. It may also cause nausea and vomiting. Consult your doctor if these side effects bother you or persist for a longer duration.
Dapsone 50mg Tablet should be used with caution in individuals with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency, as it may increase the risk of hemolysis. Careful monitoring is also required in patients with anemia, liver impairment, or pre-existing blood disorders. It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to sulfone drugs. Regular blood counts and liver function tests may be advised during treatment. If symptoms such as fatigue, pale skin, dark urine, or skin rash occur, seek medical attention promptly.

Benefits of Dapsone Tablet
Leprosy is a long-term infection that affects the skin and nerves, leading to skin lesions and nerve damage if untreated. Dapsone 50mg Tablet helps control the infection by stopping the growth of the bacteria, which reduces the spread of the disease and supports gradual healing when used as part of combination therapy.
Dermatitis herpetiformis is a condition that causes intense itching, burning, and blistering of the skin. Dapsone 50mg Tablet helps reduce these symptoms by controlling the underlying inflammatory response, providing relief from itching, and improving skin appearance.
