Product introduction

D Worm Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It should be taken with food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.

Some people may experience stomach pain as a side effect of this medicine. Please consult your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration. You may be monitored with blood tests and liver function tests throughout your treatment.

Interaction with drugs

Taking D Worm with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects
Moderate

Ritonavir (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Ritonavir may reduce blood levels of Mebendazole.
Moderate

Carbamazepine (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Mebendazole may increase the rate of release of Carbamazepine in the blood.

Cimetidine (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting or headache and consult your doctor if you experience them. Cimetidine may raise blood levels of Mebendazole.

Fosphenytoin (Injection Route)

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Fosphenytoin may reduce blood levels of Mebendazole.

Phenobarbitone (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Phenobarbitone may reduce blood levels of Mebendazole.

Frequently asked questions

D Worm Tablet is effective if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not stop taking it even if you see improvement in your condition. If you stop using D Worm Tablet too early, the symptoms may return or worsen.
The use of D Worm Tablet is contraindicated in patients with known allergy to any other ingredients of this medicine, and if you are suffering from asthma. Tell your doctor about all of your medical conditions before taking the medicine.
Keep this medicine in the container or pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it as mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.
If you forget a dose of D Worm Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next scheduled dose in the prescribed time. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one as this may increase the chances of developing side effects.
