Introduction of Contramal Tablet DT

Contramal DT 50 mg Tablet is a pain relieving medicine. It effectively alleviates moderate to severe pain.

Contramal DT 50 mg Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Never take this medicine in greater amounts or more often than prescribed. It can be taken with or without food but should be taken at a fixed time. If you miss a dose take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule.

Vomiting, dizziness, nausea, headache and constipation are some of the common side effects that might be observed on taking this medicine. Use caution while driving or using any machinery as it might cause drowsiness or visual disturbances. Inform your doctor if you have any history of kidney or liver related problems.

Driving

Kidney

What if you miss a dose of Contramal Tablet DT?

If you miss a dose of Contramal DT 50 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Q. Is there anything I need to be careful about while on therapy with Contramal?

Contramal may cause drowsiness and dizziness, especially in the beginning of the treatment. Do not drive or work with tools or machinery if your alertness is affected. It is not advisable to drink alcohol during treatment with this medicine as it might increase sleepiness.
