How to use Closis Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Closis 0.25 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Closis Tablet works

Closis 0.25 mg Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Driving

Kidney
Closis 0.25 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Closis 0.25 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Closis 0.25 mg Tablet can cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver
Closis 0.25 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Closis 0.25 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

What if you miss a dose of Closis Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Closis 0.25 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

my wife PATIENT suffering from Epilepsy. she gets it generally when she is feeling weak or exhausted or if she has some small accident at home /outside which hurts her body part little severely. we did follow a course of epilepsy tablets for 6 month in 2010 but it was exhausting her and health was further deteriorating. hence stopped that. this year it happened twice every time with reason. me and family support her all the way emotionally / mentally. also makes sure that she is having proper diet and sleep. please advise what best can be done medicine wise and in terms of improving health by diet or nah other ways. thank you
