Product introduction

Cetripra Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose required for you may vary depending on what you are taking it for. However, it is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. It may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end-stage kidney disease.

Cetripra Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data suggest dose adjustment may not be needed.

Interaction with drugs

Taking Cetripra with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects
Moderate

Mirtazapine (Oral Route)

Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration or alertness until you know how the medicines affect you.
Moderate

Thalidomide (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms of Thalidomide side effects such as drowsiness, excessive sedation, tiredness, dizziness or slurred speech and consult your doctor if you experience them. It is advised to avoid driving or undertaking other tasks requiring skill and alertness.
Moderate

Dalteparin (Injection Route)

Your doctor may frequently monitor your blood clotting time. Cetirizine may reduce the efficacy of Dalteparin.

Tranylcypromine (Oral Route)

Do not take Tranylcypromine with Cetirizine. If concurrent use is essential, talk to your doctor.

Betahistine (Oral Route)

Take Cetirizine with Betahistine only if prescribed by your doctor. Cetirizine may block the action of Betahistine.
