How to use Capicet Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Capicet 30 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Capicet Tablet works

Capicet 30 mg Tablet works by lowering a chemical (parathyroid hormone), which makes calcium level go back to normal.

Interaction with alcohol is unknown. Please consult your doctor.
Capicet 30 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Capicet 30 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Dizziness and seizures have been reported by patients taking Capicet 30 mg Tablet. This may affect your driving ability.
Capicet 30 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Capicet 30 mg Tablet is recommended.
Capicet 30 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Capicet 30 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

What if you miss a dose of Capicet Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Capicet 30 mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

1) Am I really suffering from diabetes. I am daily doing Ramdev baba Yoga for 1 - 1/30 Hrs 2) I am normal , May I stop Tab Glycomet 500 ? 3) ECG is abnormal but 2D eco is normal. Q. Can I stop taking Capicet whenever I feel better?

No, keep taking Capicet as advised by your doctor. If you stop taking Capicet, your parathyroid hormone may rise again. Talk to your doctor if you are having any problems due to Capicet.

Q. How to cope-up with nausea and vomiting that occurs after taking Capicet?

Nausea and vomiting due to Capicet maybe temporary and it will go away within a day. If you are experiencing nausea or vomiting after having Capicet, try distracting yourself with some work, and you should try to get plenty of fresh air to minimize your nausea.You should drink plenty of water or electrolytes solution (ORS) after vomiting to prevent dehydration. Please contact your doctor if you had more than 3 episodes of vomiting.
