Product introduction
Capekast Tablet should be taken within 30 minutes after a meal. Your doctor will decide the appropriate dose and treatment schedule based on your condition and response to treatment. Take it exactly as prescribed. Your doctor may monitor your response to treatment through regular checkups and tests. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to.
The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, and hand-foot syndrome (redness, swelling, or pain in the palms and soles). It may also lower your blood cell counts, increasing the risk of infections, bleeding, or anemia. Your doctor may recommend regular blood tests to monitor your blood cell counts, liver function, and kidney function during treatment.
Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver, or heart problems, or a known deficiency of an enzyme called dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPD). Tell your doctor about all other medicines you are taking, as some may interact with Capekast Tablet and cause serious side effects. This medicine can harm an unborn baby and should be avoided during pregnancy. Breastfeeding should also be avoided during treatment. Both men and women should follow their doctor's advice regarding effective contraception during treatment and for the recommended period afterward.
