Uses of Caberlee Tablet
Caberlee 0.5 mg Tablet is used in treatment of high levels of prolactin. It is also used to stops breast milk production (lactation) in case of stillbirth, abortion or miscarriage.

How to use Caberlee Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Caberlee 0.5 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Caberlee Tablet works
Caberlee 0.5 mg Tablet is a dopamine antagonist. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (dopamine) which is responsible for the release of prolactin, a hormone that helps in breast milk production. This reduces the increased prolactin levels and stops breast milk production in case of stillbirth, abortion or miscarriage.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Taking cabergoline together with alcohol may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, and difficulty concentrating.
Pregnancy
PROBABLY SAFE
Caberlee 0.5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
CAUTION
Caberlee 0.5 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Caberlee 0.5 mg Tablet is usually not used during breastfeeding because it suppresses lactation.
Driving
Caberlee 0.5 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
Caberlee 0.5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Caberlee 0.5 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Caberlee 0.5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Caberlee 0.5 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
What if you miss a dose of Caberlee Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Caberlee 0.5 mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
