Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Angiosart 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Angiosart 20mg Tablet is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels, allowing the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.

You have been prescribed Angiosart 20mg Tablet to improve your blood pressure.
Lowering blood pressure reduces chances of future heart attack & strokes.
It may also be used to treat chronic (long-standing) heart failure.
It protects kidney function, which is especially useful for people with diabetes or mild-to-moderate kidney diseases.
Angiosart 20mg Tablet can make you feel dizzy for the first few days. Take it preferably at bedtime and rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
Angiosart 20mg Tablet may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.
- Do not take Angiosart 20mg Tablet during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if you become pregnant while taking Angiosart 20mg Tablet.

Angiosart 20mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Angiosart 20mg Tablet is recommended.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function test, and potassium levels may be advised.
Angiosart 20mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Angiosart 20mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Angiosart 20mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
If you miss a dose of Angiosart 20mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
