Overview

Introduction of Amiur Tablet

Amiur 5 mg Tablet is a type of diuretic (water pill). This medicine reduces excess fluid levels in the body and is used to treat edema (fluid overload) associated with heart, liver, kidney, or lung disease. It is also used in treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and heart failure.

Amiur 5 mg Tablet makes you lose excess water through urine. This medicine should be taken only during day time to avoid frequent urination at night. It may be used alone or in combination with other medicines. Since it may increase the level of potassium in your blood, avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods like banana, fruit juice, and coconut water along with this medicine. Regular monitoring of kidney function and potassium levels is important while using this medicine. Dizziness and headache may occur as side effects initially, but these improve with time.
