Hello, Welcome to 1mg. I am Anshul Varshney for your help. No, this is not at all normal to take these medicines as these are anti anxiety medicines and have high addiction potential. However, there are indications for the use like severe anxiety.
Dear Doctor, I have a problem of dreaming very much while sleep, due to that i feel very tired throughout the day. I am facing this problem for past 4 years. Even if i sleep in day time I start dreaming immediately. I understand dreaming is a part of sleep but this much is not normal. Earlier I took alprax .50 to help me, but after some dose it stopped working for me. I need to get rid of this. Please note- I am married and have normal issues with wife so I think a lot and can't do anything to stop thinking. Please help.
Dr. Jyoti Kapoor Madan
Psychiatrist
Dreaming too much can be a sign of anxiety or unresolved psychological issues. In both cases exploring these components is important before management can be planned. Thinking and analysing too much also happens in people with anxiety traits. SSRIs are often prescribed for this condition.
