Do not use paper, matchboxes, or absorbent materials, and avoid contamination with urine or water. Avoid painkillers, iron tablets, vitamin C (ascorbic acid), and hard toothbrush use for 3 days before sample collection. Red meat and raw vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, radish, and turnip should also be avoided during this period.
Test results should always be interpreted by a doctor along with clinical findings, imaging studies, and, if required, endoscopic evaluation. Based on the results, further diagnostic tests or follow-up monitoring may be recommended.
