Atrosooth 0.6mg Injection is an anticholinergic medication. यह रासायनिक मैसेंजर (एसिटाइलकोलीन) की क्रिया को अवरुद्ध करके काम करता है. यह सर्जरी से पहले ग्रंथियों से होने वाले स्रावों (लार, पसीना आदि) को सुखाने में मदद करता है, हार्ट की कम दर को बढ़ाता है और आंतों में मरोड़ों (स्पेसम) को कम करता है. यह कुछ प्रकार की विषाक्तताओं में एंटीडोट के रूप में भी काम करता है और कुछ मसल रिलेक्सिंग दवाओं के साइड इफेक्ट को उलट देता है.
