एट्रोपीइन सलफेट 0.6mg इन्फ्यूजन एंटीकोलाइनर्जिक एजेंट नामक दवाओं की श्रेणी से सम्बन्ध रखता है. यह रासायनिक मैसेंजर (एसिटाइलकोलीन) की क्रिया को अवरुद्ध करके काम करता है. यह सर्जरी से पहले ग्रंथियों से होने वाले स्रावों (लार, पसीना आदि) को सुखाने में मदद करता है, हार्ट की कम दर को बढ़ाता है और आंतों में मरोड़ों (स्पेसम) को कम करता है. यह कुछ प्रकार की विषाक्तताओं में एंटीडोट के रूप में भी काम करता है और कुछ मसल रिलेक्सिंग दवाओं के साइड इफेक्ट को उलट देता है.

However, this rarely happens as Atropine Sulphate 0.6mg Infusion is administered under the care of a highly trained doctor. If you suspect you have been given this medicine in excess, you should tell the doctor immediately.
