Zyquin 400mg Infusion is used in the treatment of bacterial infections It is also used in infections of urinary tract, tonsils, sinus, nose, throat, female genital organ, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).
It is generally safe to consume alcohol with Zyquin 400mg Infusion.

Zyquin 400mg Infusion may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Zyquin 400mg Infusion is probably unsafe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby. Zyquin 400mg Infusion may cause diarrhea or rash in the baby
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. The most common side effects that can occur when taking Zyquin 400mg Infusion are usually mild nausea, vomiting, stomach ache, diarrhea, dizziness, and headache.This may affect your ability to drive.
Zyquin 400mg Infusion should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Zyquin 400mg Infusion may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Take plenty of water while you are taking this medicine
There is limited information available on the use of Zyquin 400mg Infusion in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Zyquin 400mg Infusion, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Zyquin treats bacterial eye infection (conjunctivitis or red eye) in adults and children older than 1 year of age
