Zithor 250 Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and at a fixed time. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the return or worsening of the infection.

Common side effects seen with Zithor 250 Tablet include diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, and stomach pain. These are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. Consult your doctor if you find these side effects worry you or persist for a longer duration.

Do not use Zithor 250 Tablet if you have a history of cholestatic jaundice or hepatic dysfunction that can be worsened with the use of Zithor 250 Tablet. • Avoid taking antacids within 2 hours before or after taking Zithor 250 Tablet, as they may affect absorption.
• Take Zithor 250 Tablet with food, or it may cause stomach upset.
• Diarrhea may occur while taking Zithor 250 Tablet; stay hydrated and contact your doctor if it becomes severe.
• Stop taking Zithor 250 Tablet and seek immediate medical help if you develop rash, swelling of the face or throat, or difficulty breathing.
• Inform your doctor if you have liver disease or a history of heart rhythm problems before taking Zithor 250 Tablet.
• Report symptoms such as palpitations, fainting, or severe dizziness promptly to your doctor.
