Zetron 1mg Injection is an antiemetic medicine used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or surgical procedures. Zetron 1mg Injection works by blocking certain chemical in the brain that triggers vomiting signals, especially during chemotherapy.

Zetron 1mg Injection will not relieve other side effects associated with cancer treatments. It is administered under the supervision of a healthcare professional and should be taken as advised by the doctor. It is important that you keep having the injections until your doctor decides it is safe to stop them. After this, your doctor may prescribe tablets instead of injections.

The most common side effects of taking this medicine include injection site pain or reaction, headache, constipation, diarrhea, and weakness. These symptoms should disappear when you stop taking the medicine, but if they bother you or do not go away, your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have heart or liver problems or a blockage in your stomach or intestines. Monitor temperature of Patient. If Patient has fever place a cool, damp washcloth on your child's forehead. Give your Patient a lukewarm tub bath or a sponge bath. Give a sponge bath as follows: - ? Use lukewarm water [90?F (32.2?C) to 95?F (35?C)]. Do not use cold water, ice, or rubbing alcohol, which will lower the child's body temperature too quickly. ? Sponge for 20 to 30 minutes. ? Stop if the child starts to shiver. If your child doesn't like the sponge bath or doesn't feel better after the bath, there is no need to give another one. You can use paracetamol also along with above measures to control fever till you consult Dr. will determine underlying disorders by clinical examination which range from mild conditions to the most serious of bacterial and viral illnesses and will prescribe medicines accordingly. Advice given without doing clinical examination can be imperfect or some time harmful to patient.

Consult your doctor, if the symptoms worry you or persist for a longer duration. Your doctor will suggest ways to cope up with these side effects and to prevent them in future.

Is Zetron 1mg Injection safe to be used in pregnant women?

Zetron 1mg Injection did not show any adverse effects in research studies done on animals. However, since the safety and efficiency of Zetron 1mg Injection in pregnant women is unknown.
