Side Effects of Volibo M are Nausea, Taste change, Loss of appetite, Flatulence, Stomach pain, Diarrhoea, Skin rash.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Volibo M 0.2 Tablet is to be taken with food.
Volibo M 0.2 Tablet may cause stomach upset if taken on empty stomach.
Volibo M 0.2 Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Metformin and voglibose. Metformin lowers the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin. Voglibose inhibits the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.

- You have been prescribed this combination medicine as it can control blood sugar better than metformin alone.
- You should continue to exercise regularly, eat a healthy diet, and take your other diabetes medicines along with Volibo M 0.2 Tablet.
- Take it with food to lower your chance of having an upset stomach.
- It can cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) when used with other antidiabetic medicines, alcohol or if you delay or miss a meal. Monitor your blood sugar level regularly
- Always carry some sugary food or fruit juice with you in case you experience hypoglycemia symptoms such as cold sweats, cool pale skin, tremor, and anxious feeling.
- Tell your doctor immediately if you experience any deep or rapid breathing, persistent nausea, vomiting or stomach pain as Volibo M 0.2 Tablet may cause a rare but serious condition called lactic acidosis, which is an excess of lactic acid in the blood.

Taking Voglibose with alcohol reduce the blood sugar levels in diabetic patients.
Volibo M 0.2 Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Volibo M 0.2 Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is low or high. If this happens, do not drive.
Volibo M 0.2 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Volibo M 0.2 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Volibo M 0.2 Tablet is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
Volibo M 0.2 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Volibo M 0.2 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Volibo M 0.2 Tablet is generally started with low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

Sir I'm an overweight guy 6 months bck my blood pressure was high I got head spins I checked my sugar it was 215(fasting) my bp was 150/100 I consult one medicine specialist he prescribed me to take Telvas 40 once a day n vertin 24 OD asked me to do some thyroid tests n blood lipid profiles test too after testing thyroid n lipid profile tests were ok n my blood sugar level was fasting 139 n post lunch it was 289. He prescribed me to take Volibo M 0.3 once a day n asked me to discontinue vertin 24 asked me to check my diet n do some exercises n meet him after 20 days with fresh blood report(only sugar). Now I hv neglected his advice of meeting him for past 6 months but im continuing with my prescribed medicine that's Telvas 40 once n Volibo M0.3 once per day Now my concern is it ok to take those medicines im feeling good with occasional head spins that too mild if I don't take med fir 2/3 days suggest me if it's ok to continue I know im doing wrong by not checking my blood sugar levels so please help me out

For a better and healthy life you needs to take your medicine on time regularly , whenever your doctor decided to stop them. Keep regular monitoring on sugar level and BP as it causes very bad effect in your body. So stay regular followup with your doctor and take medicines on time. Also do exercises regularly and try to reduce some weight.

Per day calorie intake should be between 1,500-1,800 calories with a proportion of 60:20:20 between carbohydrates, fats and proteins, respectively, take Healthy fats from raw nuts, olive oil, fish oils, flax seeds etc, fresh Fruits and vegetables,whole grains, legumes and other high-fibre diet, avoid refined carbohydrate diet,if u eat non veg u can take fish, poultry egg white, pulses whereas avoid red meat, avoid saturated fats like ghee, butter, avoid sweet foods, take small but frequent meals, supplements containing omega 3 fatty acids like Multivite fm omega capsule Quit smoking, avoid too much alcohol intake, find ways to reduce stress like meditation, yoga, etc. Moderate exercise daily like a brisk walk for 1 km. hope it helps
