Product introduction

Vermor 10mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms, for the shortest possible time. You should take this medicine regularly while you need it. Try not to miss doses as this will make the medicine less effective.

Some common side effects of this medicine include constipation,
nausea, drowsiness, lightheadedness, dizziness, sedation, vomiting, and sweating. If any of these side effects do not go away or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms.

To make sure it is safe for you, before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. You should also tell your doctor all the other medicines you are using or taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors before using this medicine.

  • It causes sleepiness or drowsiness. If this happens to you, do not drive or use machinery.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Vermor 10mg Tablet, as it may cause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness.
  • Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems.
  • Store opioid pain relievers in a safe place and out of reach of others.

Vermor 10mg Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from the body.
If the mother is taking Vermor 10mg Tablet, sleepiness of the baby should be monitored.

Vermor 10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
Use of Vermor 10mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Interaction with drugs

Taking Vermor with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects
Life-threatening

Naltrexone (Oral Route)

Do not consume Naltrexone with Morphine; watch out for symptoms such as breathlessness, increased heart rate, or headache. Naltrexone may reduce efficacy of Morphine.
Severe

Alprazolam (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms of Alprazolam side effects such as drowsiness, excessive sedation, tiredness, dizziness or slurred speech and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the dose of Alprazolam as per the observations. It is advised to avoid driving or undertaking other tasks requiring skill and alertness.
Severe

Alprazolam (Injection Route)

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms of Alprazolam side effects such as drowsiness, excessive sedation, tiredness, dizziness or slurred speech and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the dose of Alprazolam as per the observations. It is advised to avoid driving or undertaking other tasks requiring skill and alertness.
Severe

Chlordiazepoxide (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms of Chlordiazepoxide side effects such as drowsiness, excessive sedation, tiredness, dizziness or slurred speech and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the dose of Chlordiazepoxide as per the observations. It is advised to avoid driving or undertaking other tasks requiring skill and alertness.
Severe

Clobazam (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms of Clobazam side effects such as drowsiness, excessive sedation, tiredness, dizziness or slurred speech and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the dose of Clobazam as per the observations. It is advised to avoid driving or undertaking other tasks requiring skill and alertness.

Frequently asked questions

Vermor 10mg Tablet may cause drowsiness and dizziness, especially in the beginning of the treatment. Do not drive or work with tools or machinery if your alertness is affected. It is not advisable to drink alcohol during treatment with this medicine as it might increase sleepiness.
