How Tol Injection works

Tol Injection is an opoid analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Tol Injection may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Tol Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Tol Injection is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Consult a doctor immediately if the baby shows signs of increased sleepiness (more than usual), difficulty breastfeeding, breathing problems, or limpness.
Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Tol Injection may cause side effects such as drowsiness and blurred vision. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Tol Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tol Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Tol Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tol Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

What if you miss a dose of Tol Injection?

If you miss a dose of Tol Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

  • Prolonged use may result in physical and psychological dependence even at recommended dosages.
