How to use Telvas Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Telvas 80 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Telvas Tablet works

Telvas 80 Tablet is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and PPARγ-agonist. It relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of a chemical that usually makes blood vessels tighter. This lowers the blood pressure, allowing the blood to flow more smoothly to different organs and the heart to pump more efficiently.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Taking Telmisartan with alcohol may excessively lower the blood pressure.
Pregnancy
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Telvas 80 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Telvas 80 Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Telvas 80 Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
SAFE
Telvas 80 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Telvas 80 Tablet is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, creatinine, and potassium levels may be advised while you are taking this medicine.
Liver
CAUTION
Telvas 80 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Telvas 80 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Telvas 80 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

What if you miss a dose of Telvas Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Telvas 80 Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Taking lurafic 80mg,prodep 60 mg and telvas 20; after taking these medicine long time approx 6 months but there is no significant change in patient. He afraid from high sounds,light fluctuations,traffics, wind ,mob etc ,he says once that he not want to alive more and says frequently something will be happen wrong with him in future .no problem in sleeping . Sir I'm an overweight guy 6 months bck my blood pressure was high I got head spins I checked my sugar it was 215(fasting) my bp was 150/100 I consult one medicine specialist he prescribed me to take Telvas 40 once a day n vertin 24 OD asked me to do some thyroid tests n blood lipid profiles test too after testing thyroid n lipid profile tests were ok n my blood sugar level was fasting 139 n post lunch it was 289. He prescribed me to take Volibo M 0.3 once a day n asked me to discontinue vertin 24 asked me to check my diet n do some exercises n meet him after 20 days with fresh blood report(only sugar). Now I hv neglected his advice of meeting him for past 6 months but im continuing with my prescribed medicine that's Telvas 40 once n Volibo M0.3 once per day Now my concern is it ok to take those medicines im feeling good with occasional head spins that too mild if I don't take med fir 2/3 days suggest me if it's ok to continue I know im doing wrong by not checking my blood sugar levels so please help me out
