Taking Stelara with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Life-threatening

Herpes Zoster / Shingles Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted) (Injection Route)

Do not use Ustekinumab from 15 weeks before and for 2 weeks after consuming Herpes Zoster / Shingles Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted).

Severe

Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) (Oral Route)

Do not use Ustekinumab from 15 weeks before and for 2 weeks after consuming Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated).

Severe

Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine (Injection Route)

Do not use Ustekinumab from 15 weeks before and for 2 weeks after consuming Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine.

Moderate

Aminophylline (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Ustekinumab may increase the metabolism of Aminophylline.
