How to use Roxikem Suspension

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. It is better to take Roxikem 50mg Suspension empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food).

Roxikem 50mg suspension is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Roxikem is to be taken on an empty stomach at least 15 minutes before a meal. The Roxikem tablets should be taken with good amount of water.
Q. Does Roxikem treat streptococcal throat infection?
Roxikem is used to treat throat infection caused by Streptococcus pyogenes. It is also indicated for other upper respiratory tract infections like tonsillitis and sinusitis. If you think you are suffering from a streptococcal throat infection, please consult your doctor as it requires proper diagnosis before the start of antibiotics.
