How to use Roxicare Suspension

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. It is better to take Roxicare Suspension empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food).

Roxicare suspension is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Roxicare is an antibiotic and belongs to the group of antibiotics known as macrolides. Roxicare prevents bacteria from growing, by interfering with their protein synthesis.
Q. Can I take Roxicare with food?
Roxicare is to be taken on an empty stomach at least 15 minutes before a meal. The Roxicare tablets should be taken with good amount of water.
Q. Does Roxicare treat streptococcal throat infection?
Roxicare is used to treat throat infection caused by Streptococcus pyogenes. It is also indicated for other upper respiratory tract infections like tonsillitis and sinusitis. If you think you are suffering from a streptococcal throat infection, please consult your doctor as it requires proper diagnosis before the start of antibiotics.
Q. Can I take Roxicare with codeine?

Roxicare is active against chlamydia species and is used for the treatment of infections caused by chlamydia. Please consult your doctor before taking any treatment if you have been diagnosed with chlamydial infection.
