Ranopill 500 Tablet ER should be taken in the dose as advised by your doctor, at the same time each day. It can be taken with or without food to avoid stomach upset. Your doctor will decide how often you should take this medicine. This may change from time to time depending on how well it is working. You should take this medicine regularly to get the most benefit, even if you feel fine. It prevents future harm. If you stop taking it, your chest pain may come back.

You can improve the health of your heart by making some lifestyle changes, such as quitting smoking, cutting down on alcohol, eating well, taking regular exercise, and managing stress. Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, headache, dizziness, and constipation. Talk to your doctor if these bother you or do not go away.

Ranopill 500 Tablet ER may not be suitable for some people. Tell your doctor if you are suffering from any liver or kidney problems. Also, let your doctor know all other medications you are using, as some may affect or be affected by this medicine. This medicine is not usually recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Ranopill 500 Tablet ER improves HbA1c and blood sugar levels in diabetes patients.

Ranopill 500 Tablet ER may cause changes in the electrical activity of the heart, which is known as QT prolongation. Tell your doctor right away if you feel faint or lightheaded or if your heart starts beating irregularly or fast, as these may be symptoms of QT prolongation. Ranopill 500 Tablet ER may also cause kidney failure in patients who already have kidney problems. Therefore, your doctor may need to do tests to check how your kidneys are working.

I started taking Ranopill 500 Tablet ER about a week ago. Now I have noticed that my urine has become very dark, though I am taking plenty of fluids. Is there anything to worry about?

Dark urine while taking Ranopill 500 Tablet ER is not a common side effect, but it can sometimes happen. Monitor for other symptoms like yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), severe fatigue, nausea, or unusual muscle pain. Yes, it is safe to take the Ranopill 500 Tablet ER and metoprolol together. Ranopill 500 Tablet ER has minimal effect on blood pressure in patients with angina.
