How to use RALOP SYRUP

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. It is better to take Ralop 15mg syrup with food.

How RALOP SYRUP works

Ralop 15mg syrup has an anti-secretory effect. It reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine. This helps to reduce the amount of fluid loss from the body in diarrhoea.

  • Racecadotril should be used together with an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to provide adequate fluid and electrolyte replacement.
  • Don't use Racecadotril, if you have blood and pus in the stools or fever. This may be due to bacterial infection and may need different treatment.
  • Not recommended to be taken more than 7 days.
  • Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems.
  • Don't use Racecadotril, if you have uncontrolled vomiting.
  • Don't use Racecadotril in children less than 3 months.
  • Not approved for adult and children above 13 years.
