Pydinac-T Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of chronic kidney disease. It protects the kidneys from damage and reduces the risk of kidney failure.
Pydinac-T Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, fever, runny nose, diarrhea, abdominal pain, skin irritation and rashes, and throat irritation. These are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects.
Before taking it, you should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors before taking this medicine.

Pydinac-T Tablet has antioxidant properties which helps in elimination of toxic materials such as urea from the kidneys and improves kidney function. When combined with a low or very low protein diet, it helps slow down the progression of CKD and improves the quality of life. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully and take it as advised to get maximum benefit.

Pydinac-T Tablet may be unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. It should be used only if the expected benefit outweighs the potential risk. Please consult your doctor.
Driving
UNSAFE
Pydinac-T Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Pydinac-T Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment is recommended.
Liver
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
There is limited data available on the use of Pydinac-T Tablet in patients with liver disease.
What if you forget to take Pydinac-T Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Pydinac-T Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Pydinac-T Tablet is used to help prevent contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) in people at high risk, such as those with kidney problems, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart failure, older age, dehydration, unstable blood flow, or those taking kidney-harming medicines.
Who should not take Pydinac-T Tablet?
Pydinac-T Tablet should not be taken by anyone who is allergic to taurine, acetylcysteine, or any other ingredient in the medicine.
Can people with severe asthma take Pydinac-T Tablet?
Pydinac-T Tablet is not recommended for people having a sudden, severe asthma attack. Asthma patients should be closely monitored during its use.
