preGAlin 75 Capsule can be taken with or without food. The dose and duration of treatment may depend on the severity of your condition and your response to it. Your doctor may start this medicine at a low dose and gradually increase it. It may take a few weeks for the medicine to work properly. Follow your doctor’s instructions and continue taking it regularly until your doctor advises you to stop.
The side effects of this medicine are usually mild and go away on their own. The most common ones are feeling sleepy or dizzy, dry mouth, blurred vision, weight gain, edema (swelling throughout the body), and difficulty concentrating. Let your doctor know if any of these side effects persist or worsen.
Before taking preGAlin 75 Capsule, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant. Be careful while driving, as sleepiness, dizziness, and blurred vision may be seen as side effects. You should avoid drinking alcohol along with this medicine, as it may lead to excessive sleepiness and dizziness.

Dosage
The dosing depends on the condition being treated, your kidney function, and your response to treatment. It is usually taken two or three times a day. Take preGAlin 75 Capsule exactly as prescribed and try to take it at the same time each day. Do not take more than the prescribed dose or stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor. This may worsen your symptoms or cause withdrawal effects.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of preGAlin 75 Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Overdose
Overdose may result in reduced consciousness, restlessness, depression/anxiety, agitation, and a confusional state. In case of overdose, contact your doctor immediately. Your doctor may consider standard measures to remove any unabsorbed drug and monitor vitals.

- preGAlin 75 Capsule should be taken exactly as per the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor.
- It may cause sleepiness. Do not drive or perform any activity that requires concentration until you know how it affects you.
- It may cause blurring or loss of vision. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice any changes in your vision.
- Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior.
- Do not stop taking the medication suddenly. This can lead to withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, agitation, insomnia, and, in some cases, seizures.
- Avoid alcohol completely while taking this medication. Combining it with alcohol can significantly depress the central nervous system. This leads to excessive sedation, impaired coordination, and respiratory depression (slowed or shallow breathing).
