The most common side effects of Posaforce 100mg Tablet include diarrhea, nausea, fever, vomiting, headache, coughing, and hypokalemia (low potassium level). Interaction with drugs

Taking Posaforce with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Life-threatening

Simvastatin (Oral Route)

Do not consume Simvastatin with Posaconazole. If Posaconazole is essential, your doctor may temporarily stop Simvastatin. Posaconazole may raise blood levels of Simvastatin.

Life-threatening

Lovastatin (Oral Route)

Do not consume Lovastatin with Posaconazole. If Posaconazole is essential, your doctor may temporarily stop Lovastatin. Posaconazole may raise blood levels of Lovastatin.

Severe

Atorvastatin (Oral Route)

Do not consume Atorvastatin with Posaconazole. If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as muscle pains or weakness and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the doses as per the observations.

Severe

Ranolazine (Oral Route)

Do not consume Ranolazine with Posaconazole. If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms of Ranolazine side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, constipation or weakness and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the dose of Ranolazine accordingly. Posaconazole may raise blood levels of Ranolazine.

Severe

Pimozide (Oral Route)

Do not consume Pimozide with Posaconazole.
