General Information

Product introduction
Phenil Injection is also used to treat and prevent motion sickness, symptoms of Meniere’s disease (such as nausea, vomiting, and vertigo), and other associated labyrinthine disturbances.
It is given as an injection into the veins or muscles under the supervision of a doctor. It should be used as per the instruction of your doctor. The dose and how often you take it depend on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take Phenil Injection for as long as it is prescribed for you.
Sedation is the most common side effect of Phenil Injection. Avoid driving or attention-seeking activities. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. In some cases, it may cause dry mouth, so it is advised to drink more water, always carry sugar candy, or maintain oral hygiene.
Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have glaucoma, asthma, or high blood pressure. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking, as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Generally, it is advised to avoid alcohol while on treatment with Phenil Injection.

Benefits of Phenil Injection
Phenil Injection is widely used in allergic conditions such as hay fever, drug rashes, food allergies, allergic conjunctivitis, angioneurotic oedema, and serum sickness. It works by blocking histamine-mediated allergic responses, thereby reducing symptoms like itching, swelling, redness, sneezing, and watery eyes, and improving overall symptom control during allergic reactions.
In Meniere’s disease, Phenil Injection helps manage symptoms such as vertigo, nausea, and vomiting. Its antihistaminic and anti-emetic properties help stabilize inner ear–related symptoms, providing relief from dizziness and associated discomfort.
In respiratory conditions such as acute rhinitis and vasomotor rhinitis, where increased nasal secretions are present, Phenil Injection helps relieve symptoms by blocking the effects of histamine. This reduces excessive mucus production, sneezing, and nasal irritation, helping improve breathing comfort and reducing discomfort associated with allergic or irritative respiratory conditions.
Phenil Injection is beneficial in itching skin conditions such as eczema, urticaria, neurodermatitis, and other pruritic disorders. It helps reduce itching, redness, and skin irritation, which can improve comfort and prevent further skin damage caused by scratching.
