Pcl Syrup can be taken with or without food and it is better to take it in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. You may need this medicine only on days you have symptoms, or you may need to take it every day to prevent symptoms from happening. Taking Pcl with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Clozapine (Oral Route)

Watch out for symptoms such as dry mouth, increased heart rate, urination difficulties, constipation, loss of appetite or nausea and consult your doctor if you experience them.

Thalidomide (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms of Thalidomide side effects such as drowsiness, excessive sedation, tiredness, dizziness or slurred speech and consult your doctor if you experience them. It is advised to avoid driving or undertaking other tasks requiring skill and alertness.

Ketamine (Injection Route)

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations.

Vilazodone (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Cyproheptadine may reduce the efficacy of Vilazodone.
