Cefprozil(500 mg)


Orprozil 500mg tablet is used to treat mild to moderate bacterial infections of the respiratory tract such as pharyngitis/tonsillitis (inflammation of the pharynx and tonsils), otitis media (middle ear infections), sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses), acute bronchitis and acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis and uncomplicated skin and skin-structure infections.

How it works

Orprozil 500mg tablet belongs to class of medications called cephalosporin antibiotics. It works by arresting the bacterial cell wall synthesis resulting in bacterial cell death.

  • You may experience diarrhea after starting with this antibiotic, do not stop the medications without consulting your doctor.
