Product introduction

Take Omni 5mg Tablet exactly as directed by your doctor, usually once daily before a meal. Swallow it whole; do not chew or crush it. To get the most benefit, take it regularly at the same time each day. Continue the full course even if you feel better, as stopping too soon may cause symptoms to return. Along with treatment, avoid irritants such as alcohol, tobacco, and spicy or acidic foods. Eat smaller, more frequent meals and do not lie down immediately after eating.


The most common side effects include headache, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and gas. These are generally mild and often go away as your body adjusts to the medicine. If diarrhea is severe, persistent, or watery, inform your doctor. Staying hydrated and maintaining a balanced diet can help reduce discomfort.


Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver disease or any kidney problems. Long-term or high-dose use may increase the risk of bone fractures, low vitamin B12 or magnesium levels, or fundic gland polyps in the stomach. Therefore, the medicine should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time. Seek immediate help if you notice signs of severe allergic reaction, such as swelling, breathing difficulty, or rash with blisters. Do not take Omni 5mg Tablet if you are allergic to omeprazole or any ingredients in the medicine. Inform your doctor about all other medicines you take, as Omni 5mg Tablet can affect how other medicines work.

Treatment of Stomach ulcers
In gastric ulcers, Omni 5mg Tablet lowers acid levels in the stomach, protecting the stomach wall from further damage and giving it time to recover. Regular use as prescribed can help relieve symptoms such as burning pain and discomfort, and promote complete ulcer healing.
Treatment of Gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux)
Omni 5mg Tablet provides relief from the burning sensation of acid reflux and heartburn caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It reduces acid production, preventing stomach acid from flowing back into the food pipe, and helps heal irritation or inflammation of the esophagus, improving comfort and digestion.
Treatment of Peptic ulcer disease
Omni 5mg Tablet helps relieve pain and promotes healing in peptic ulcers (duodenal ulcers) by reducing excess stomach acid that irritates the ulcer lining. It blocks acid production and allows the damaged tissue in the stomach and upper intestine to heal properly. It also helps prevent the ulcer from coming back.
Management of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
For people with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, where the stomach produces too much acid, Omni 5mg Tablet helps control acid secretion and prevents complications such as ulcers. How to use Omni Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Omni 5mg Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.

How Omni Tablet works

Omni 5mg Tablet works by specifically blocking an enzyme system known as the “acid pump” in the stomach lining. This enzyme is responsible for the final step in the production of gastric acid. Inhibiting this pump reduces both the volume and acidity of stomach secretions, providing lasting acid suppression and promoting healing of acid-related conditions such as ulcers and reflux disease.

Quick tips

  • Take it before a meal, preferably in the morning, 30–60 minutes before breakfast, to get the best effect.
  • Take it at the same time every day to help maintain consistent acid control.
  • Avoid trigger foods, such as spicy, fatty, or acidic foods, and limit caffeine and alcohol intake.
  • Avoid laying down right after eating. Wait at least 2–3 hours after meals before lying down to prevent acid reflux.
  • Combine the treamtent with with lifestyle changes, such as healthy weight and quitting smoking.
  • If you still experience heartburn or indigestion after 2 weeks, consult with your doctor.
