Side Effects of Olaford are Dizziness, Sleepiness, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Dryness in mouth, Weight gain, Increased prolactin level in blood, Constipation, Muscle rigidity, Restlessness, Tremor.

How to use Olaford Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Olaford 2.5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

  • Olaford 2.5 mg Tablet may cause weight gain, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and high blood sugar.
  • Tell your doctor if you have any unusual thoughts or behavior, inability to control muscle movements, or fever and excess sweating.
  • Elderly people with dementia shouldn't take Olaford 2.5 mg Tablet.
  • Avoid cigarette smoking as it can decrease Olaford 2.5 mg Tablet blood levels.

CAUTION
Olaford 2.5 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Olaford 2.5 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation

Driving
Olaford 2.5 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
SAFE
Olaford 2.5 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Olaford 2.5 mg Tablet is recommended.
Liver
Olaford 2.5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Olaford 2.5 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
