How to use Ofx Syrup

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Ofx 50mg/5ml Syrup at a fixed time.

Ofx 50mg/5ml syrup is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by inhibiting the DNA replication.

  • Never take an antibiotic for a viral infection like a cold or the flu.
  • Can lead to nausea and diarrhoea frequently. If this becomes severe or persistent or you notice that your stool contains blood or mucus you should stop taking Ofx immediately and consult your doctor. You should not take medicines to stop or slow diarrhoea.
  • Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
  • Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with epilepsy, kidney or heart diseases.
