Oflochem TZ Syrup is a combination of two antibiotics: Ofloxacin and Tinidazole. Ofloxacin kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Tinidazole kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
Oflochem TZ Syrup may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).

Oflochem TZ Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Oflochem TZ Syrup is probably unsafe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Oflochem TZ Syrup may make you feel drowsy or gives you problems with coordination or sensation (e.g. numbness or weakness). This may affect your driving ability.
Oflochem TZ Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Oflochem TZ Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Oflochem TZ Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Oflochem TZ Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
