Introduction

Noragyl O Suspension is a combination of two antibiotics that effectively treats diarrhea and dysentery. It kills the microorganisms and treats the infection.


Noragyl O Suspension is a prescription medicine that can be taken with or without food. Take the medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The treatment must be completed even if you feel better.

Noragyl O Suspension may lead to some side effects such as nausea, dryness of mouth, stomach upset, etc. To overcome any such side effects, it is advised to eat a healthy balanced diet and drink plenty of fluid. How Noragyl O Suspension works

Noragyl O Suspension is a combination of two antibiotics: Ofloxacin and Metronidazole. Ofloxacin works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Yes, the use of Noragyl O can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food or with antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods along with this medicine. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small frequent sips. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration, like dark colored and strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination. Do not take any other medicine without speaking to a doctor.

Q. Can the use of Noragyl O cause dryness in the mouth?

Yes, the use of Noragyl O can cause dry mouth. If you experience dry mouth drink plenty of water. Take regular sips during the day and keep some water by your bed at night. You may use lip balm if your lips are also dry.

Noragyl O should be used with caution in nursing mothers as it can lead to serious side effects. You should always consult your doctor before taking Noragyl O.
