Uses of Nicoz Tablet

Nicoz 4 mg Tablet is used to prevent blood clots. It helps prevent the formation of blood clots in legs, lungs, heart or any other parts of the body.

How to use Nicoz Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nicoz 4 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Nicoz Tablet works

Nicoz 4 mg Tablet is an oral anticoagulant. It acts by preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. Although it does not dissolve the existing blood clots, it inhibits them from growing larger and causing serious problems.

Nicoz 4 mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Nicoz 4 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Nicoz 4 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Nicoz 4 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nicoz 4 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Nicoz 4 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

What if you miss a dose of Nicoz Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Nicoz 4 mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

  • Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor as this may increase your chances of having another heart attack or stroke.
