How to use Nicoz Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nicoz 4 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Nicoz 4 mg Tablet is an oral anticoagulant. It acts by preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. Although it does not dissolve the existing blood clots, it inhibits them from growing larger and causing serious problems.

For best results, take it at the same time every day.
Your doctor may get regular blood tests done to make sure Nicoz 4 mg Tablet is working properly.
Nicoz 4 mg Tablet increases your risk of bleeding. Be careful while shaving, cutting fingernails or toenails, using sharp objects, or engaging in contact sports (e.g. football, wrestling).
Notify your doctor if you see blood in your vomit, urine or stool (black, tarry stools or bright red blood).
Avoid making sudden major changes to your diet during treatment with this medicine.
If you are going to have a surgery or dental treatment, you may be asked to stop taking Nicoz 4 mg Tablet temporarily.
Do not consume alcohol while taking Nicoz 4 mg Tablet as this may increase its effect.
Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor as this may increase your chances of having another heart attack or stroke.
