Modlip 80mg Tablet is a widely prescribed medicine and is regarded as safe for long-term use when taken as per the doctor's advice. It can be taken with a meal or on an empty stomach. You can take it at any time of the day, but try to take it at about the same time each day. Most people with high cholesterol do not feel ill, but stopping the medicine may increase cholesterol levels, thereby increasing the risk of heart disease and stroke.


It is important to have your cholesterol levels checked regularly. This medicine is only one part of the treatment program, which should also include a healthy diet, regular exercise, smoking cessation, moderation of alcohol intake, and weight reduction. Do not consume Atorvastatin with Atazanavir. If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as tiredness, muscle pain, tenderness or weakness and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the dose of Atorvastatin accordingly. Atazanavir may raise blood levels of Atorvastatin.

Bezafibrate (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the dose of Atorvastatin accordingly.

Imatinib mesylate (Oral Route)

Do not consume Atorvastatin with Imatinib mesylate. If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness and consult your doctor if you experience them.
