Product introduction

Lucentis Injection is administered directly into the eyeball by an eye specialist. You should not self administer this medicine at home. The common side effects include conjunctival hemorrhage, eye pain, eye floaters, increased intraocular pressure, and eye inflammation.

However, if you experience these side effects for a longer duration or any other symptoms which you think may be due to this medicine, please inform your doctor. It is not advised to drive after administration of this injection as it may cause blurring of vision.

Uses of Lucentis Injection

Benefits of Lucentis Injection

Diabetic eye disease
Diabetic eye disease occurs when high blood sugar damages the blood vessels in the retina, leading to vision problems and even blindness if untreated. Lucentis Injection helps protect the retina and reduce vision loss by addressing swelling and leakage in the eye. It supports clearer vision and helps individuals maintain their ability to read, work, and move around independently.
Wet age-related macular degeneration
Wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is an eye condition that affects central vision, making it hard to see fine details, read, or recognize faces. Lucentis Injection helps reduce the growth of abnormal blood vessels in the eye and limits further damage to the retina. It helps preserve and, in some cases, improve vision, supporting independence and a better quality of life for older adults.
Macular edema due to retinal vein occlusion
Macular edema due to retinal vein occlusion causes swelling in the central part of the retina, leading to blurry or distorted vision. Lucentis Injection helps reduce the swelling and improve visual clarity. It allows for sharper sight and greater ease in performing everyday tasks, improving overall visual comfort and stability.
