Lnd 600 mg Injection is used in the treatment of severe bacterial infections. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of lungs (Pneumonia), skin & soft tissues.

How Lnd Injection works

Lnd 600 mg Injection is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Pregnancy

Lnd 600 mg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
CAUTION
Lnd 600 mg Injection is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Lnd 600 mg Injection may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney
SAFE
Lnd 600 mg Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Lnd 600 mg Injection is recommended.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Liver
Lnd 600 mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lnd 600 mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Limited information is available on the use of Lnd 600 mg Injection in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

  • Lnd 600 mg Injection treats serious infections caused by certain types of bacteria.
  • Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat.

Q. Can the use of Lnd cause diarrhea?

Yes, the use of Lnd can cause diarrhea. It is an antibiotic which kills the harmful bacteria. However, it also affects the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine and causes diarrhea. If you are experiencing severe diarrhea, talk to your doctor about it.

Q. What foods should I avoid while taking Lnd?

You should avoid taking large quantities of food that contain high tyramine in it. Foods that are fermented, cured, aged or spoiled contain high amount of tyramine e.g cheese, red wine, pickle, over ripe fruits etc. Consuming tyramine while taking Lnd can result in elevation of blood pressure, which may result in an emergency situation.
